I had the chance to see your show in Sydney. It was so intimate and covered art in so many different perspectives. Lights, sound, movements. Had the feeling that you considered every detail of the experience shown. I would like to know what is the reason to have the public backwards (feels like we are seeing you in your intimate space, I love it). Also, can you please tell us about the graphic art of DIA? Love your music and proposal. Thanks for creating art in a world dominated by technology and trends. No parar hasta quemarlo todo.

Nicolás,

<3. I smile. The reason I stand backwards when I play is because I want us to be together at live shows. Really together: like we are all in a ship of some sort (a bus, a car, a spaceship) and I am driving us, but we are all on the same ship, looking in the same direction, going to the same place. For the past years, while being on stage, I felt the desire to be closer to the audience, to make it feel like a more communal experience, I have tried different things through the years; like playing on the round (on the floor on a 360 stage) but nothing has felt better and like it drives my idea, the feeling of “togetherness” home: than looking in the same direction as you, the audience. All of us are looking in the same direction, therefore you can see all i'm doing, and you can closer to what i feel, and you have my back, and i feel you with me, like you are following me wherever we go; together.

Also, I’ve never seen anybody do it this way before, which is always a reason to do something.

Now, what do you want to know about the art on DIA? I've spoken a lot about it, hehe but it is a big topic, would you want to write another letter and be more specific? <3 I look fwd to reading it.

Thank you for looking for art in different places, being sensitive to it, and appreciating it. I am like you, therefore I make beside and for you.

No parar hasta quemarlo todo.

Ela.
